Award for the "Top Employer"

In 2017, we received for the first time the seal "Best Employer 2017" in the "Traffic and Logistics" sector of Focus magazine. The online platforms XING and kununu cooperate closely to award this seal.

The criteria for the award is primarily based on the company's recommendation by its employees. The seal also takes into account the working atmosphere, management style and internal communication. We score with long-term employee relationships and high team orientation. Respect and tolerance are vital to us.

What's more, REICHHART prioritizes a good work-life balance. Flexible work-time models and the re-entry into part-time employment make the balancing act between work and private life easier for working parents. Not just talking, but also acting – that's what makes REICHHART a top employer.

A sympathetic ear for our employees

It is important to us that we know what motivates our employees, what drives them and what we can improve in order to enhance their job satisfaction. For this reason we regularly ask for our employees' opinions.

 

Prevailing mood: "How are things going for your at REICHHART?"

Once a year we carry out our standardised employee survey. The comprehensive picture this provides with regard to the satisfaction of our employees at each site helps us to deduce and implement the most expedient measures possible.

Sometimes it is easier to pour out your heart to a neutral colleague. Therefore we repeatedly facilitate discussions in which suggestions and wishes can be expressed without bias. The results are then anonymously forwarded to the management. Feedback is then drawn up and the company's position regarding the employee's comments is outlined at a staff meeting.

Management of ideas

The best ideas come from our employees. We therefore encourage all of our employees to submit their suggestions for improvement. REICHHART Ideas Management is the ideal point of contact in this regard. For each implemented idea, the employee in question also receives a reward as a small thank-you.

At our various sites, the teams generally begin their shifts with a 5-minute discussion. This enables the fast exchange of information across various hierarchical levels.
