REICHHART Logistik wins Purem by Eberspaecher project in Algeria

Market entry into a dynamically growing economic region

Gilching, February 2026 – REICHHART Logistik has been awarded the contract for a strategically important service in Oran, Algeria. The customer is the long-standing partner Purem by Eberspächer, an international specialist in exhaust gas purification and acoustic systems for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and off-road vehicles. From June 2026, REICHHART Logistik will take over the complete operational handling of exhaust systems that will be processed in a new production plant. The project includes welding, sequencing and transport processes.

"The project in Algeria shows that we can deliver reliable logistics solutions even under demanding conditions. Our digital solution expertise and operational strength ultimately tipped the scales," says Alexander Reichhart, Managing Director of REICHHART Logistik GmbH. The logistics service provider brings established welding expertise from Maubeuge, France, as well as a deep understanding of the local requirements in Algeria.

"The successful transfer of comparable services from other locations shows how flexible and scalable our services are. Our customers benefit from a holistic range of services – from planning and technical implementation to quality assurance," adds Martin Sutara, Head of Business Development & Sales at REICHHART.

Digital competence as a competitive advantage

Another decisive factor in winning the contract was the moviniti sequence solution, which REICHHART uses in cooperation with its partner moviniti. The fully cloud-based application is ready for immediate use, even with limited on-premises IT infrastructure. Its intuitive user interface makes it easy to use and quick to get started – even with language challenges. The solution ensures that materials are provided in the right order as needed and creates transparency in the upstream processes.

The customer Purem by Eberspächer is convinced: "REICHHART acted with a high level of professionalism and a clear solution orientation during the quotation phase. The decisive factor for us was the competence to weld the exhaust systems and the software solution for sequencing to the customer. We are pleased to continue a long-standing and successful cooperation with the joint project in Oran," says Oliver Geselbracht, who is responsible for the so-called satellite plants within the Europe business unit for Purem by Eberspächer.

North Africa as a future market for the logistics industry

With the new project in Algeria, REICHHART Logistik is expanding its international presence in a region that is developing dynamically and is considered a future market for the logistics industry. "We believe in the potential of Algeria and consciously invest in building local value creation. Our goal is to create sustainable structures that create, qualify and secure local jobs in the long term," says Reichhart.

More and more international car manufacturers and global industry players are investing in North Africa and building new production facilities to benefit from geographical proximity to Europe, short supply routes and a growing industrial infrastructure. The region acts as a hub for trade between Europe and Africa and offers ideal conditions for modern logistics solutions.

The expansion is part of REICHHART's strategic growth agenda and underlines its ability to successfully implement complex logistics projects in new markets. The company is entering the market via the automotive industry, but at the same time sees potential for other industries in the medium term – such as mechanical engineering, the supplier industry and selected production environments.
