Green logistics planning and control
In the development of logistics concepts, we focus on a holistic approach that takes into account both economic efficiency and ecological concerns. Our priority here is the continuous optimisation of capacity utilisation while avoiding empty runs. The establishment of long-term partnerships with major customers also contributes to this: by integrating the entire transport volume of a customer into a single forwarder concept, transport costs and CO2 emissions are equally reduced.
This enables us to work efficiently and minimize expenses. At the same time, we save resources and contribute to environmental protection.
Our REICHHART fleet meets both economic and ecological requirements: in addition to efficient scheduling to maximize capacity utilization, we attach great importance to the use of low-emission vehicles.
In REICHHART's in-house fleet, 85 percent of the vehicles are therefore less than two years old and 80 percent meet the Euro 6 standard. Regular motor vehicle training and state-of-the-art telematics solutions help reduce emissions and fuel. Our service partners also use environmentally compatible and low-emission vehicles as part of our common target agreements.
